Union Bank to increase branches for MSME

In the wake of impressive growth in credit to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), Union Bank of India (UBI) plans to roll out more specialised business banking branches to cater to the credit needs of MSME customers with limits upto Rs. 35 rore or having turnover less than Rs. 1,000 crore.

The bank currently has 100 such branches across the country and it plans to increase the number to 175.
