Yes Bank's net profit rose around 125 per cent to Rs 36 crore in the first quarter of the 2007-08 compared with Rs 16.88 crore last year. The total income rose to Rs 348 crore from Rs 129 crore during the quarter.
 
"We have a composite growth in the infrastructure, agriculture and life sciences business. Non-interest income also continues to be our main stay,'' said Rana Kapoor, managing director and chief executive officer, Yes Bank. Non-interest income of the bank increased to Rs 75.96 crore from Rs 35.88 crore.
