Yes Bank will foray into retail banking in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal by offering personal loans and advances against existing real estate."The bank will further expand its retail loan portfolio by offering housing loans in 2006-07," Rana Kapoor, MD and CEO of Yes Bank, said today.The bank is planning to open 23 more branches across the country to take the total number to 30 by March 30, 2006."Retail banking is targeted to contribute 30-35%of our total business by 2010. While the small and medium entrprise (SME) sector will account for another 30-35%, the remaining 30% business will come from institutional banking," Kapoor said.
