The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: (i) Shri Dineshwar Sharma, IPS (KL:79), Special Director, Intelligence Bureau as Officer on Special Duty in the Intelligence Bureau with immediate effect in the rank and pay he is currently entitled to; (ii) Shri Dineshwar Sharma, IPS (KL:79) as Director, Intelligence Bureau, on relinquishment of charge by Shri S.A. Ibrahim, IPS (MP:77) on his retirement on 31.12.2014, for a period of two years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
