Data on SC/ST/Religious Social Groups

Government has databases on Scheduled Castes (SCs)/Scheduled Tribes (STs) and other religious/social groups on the basis of data collected in different Population Censuses conducted by Registrar General of India and National Sample Surveys undertaken by National Sample Survey office(NSSO). In addition, Government of India recently conducted Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC).
