President Putin's gifts to PM The President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin hosted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a tete-e-tete at the Kremlin, on Wednesday evening. President Putin presented to the Prime Minister a page from the diary of Mahatma Gandhi. The page contains Gandhiji's handwritten notes. President Putin also gifted to the Prime Minister, a late-eighteenth century Indian sword from Bengal province. The sword features intricate silver artwork.
