Railway Minister Expresses his Profound Grief Over the Loss of Innocent Lives in Train Accident Near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh 12 Dead and 45 Injured in the Side Collision of Krishak Express and Lucknow-Barauni Express Trains Enhanced Amount of Ex-Gratia of Rs. 2 Lakh to the Next Kin of the Dead Announced

In an unfortunate side collision accident between Krishak Express and Lucknow-Barauni Express near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in late hours yesterday night, 12 persons lost their lives and 45 persons suffered injuries out of which 12 grievously injured and 33 simply injured. Injured persons were transported to different hospitals at Gorakhpur i.e. Medical College Hospital, Distt. Hospital, Air Force Hospital and Railway Hospital, Gorakhpur.
