Sugar production estimated 250.46 lakh tons during 2014-15

The Department of Food and Public Distribution organized a conference of Cane Commissioners of the sugar producing States here yesterday to discuss expected production in the sugar season 2014-15 and other issues related to the sugar industry. The meeting was chaired by Shri Sudhir Kumar, Secretary, Food &Public Distribution.
