Pakistan's security forces on Tuesday, said that they have arrested eight militants involved in Balochistan's Jiwani airport attack that left two engineers dead late last month.
Dawn online quoted, Frontier Corps spokesman Khan Wasey as saying that the militants, who were arrested from Gwadar district, are also suspected of involvement in other target killings in the area.
The suspects belong to a banned militant organisation operating in the area, he said.
They were arrested during military operations that were conducted in the area.
The attack took place on August 30 at Jiwani airport in Balochistan, when militants opened fire at the airport's radar system which left two engineers dead.
