The Center for Advanced Banking and Finance Studies of ICFAI Business School, Mumbai, (IBS-M) will conduct a professional development programme on 'Asset Liability Management' for branch managers of banks and financial institutions. The two-day comprehensive programme aims at giving insights and strategies to participants on asset liability management.

IIT alumni meet in Singapore
 
The first IIT alumni meet 'IIT Everywhere' will be hosted in Singapore on August 26. The meet will bring together IITians from the entire South East Asia region and will provide a platform for academics-industrialists interaction where leaders from the industry in Singapore will meet with the directors and other representatives of the IITs to explore opportunities to work together.
 
The event will be supported by panIIT- the global forum for IIT Alumni as well as Singapore based associations like SITF and SICCI.
 
IIFT in Kolkata
 
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has opened a new campus in Kolkata. It has launched a two-year full-time MBA (International Baccalaureate "� IB) programme and will start its three-year part-time MBA (IB) degree programme in November this year.
 
Management for civic authorities
 
IIM Ahmedabad will hold a five-day programme on 'Urban Management' for professionals from the municipal corporation, urban development authorities and NGOs.
 
The course aims at providing participants a holistic view on urban policies, governance and management and help them develop perspectives to address urban problems.

Resource mobilisation course
 
Resource Alliance, in collaboration with the S P Jain Institute of Management and Research has introduced a certificate programme on 'Resource Mobilisation and Management (CPRMM)'. The programme aims at building capabilities of individuals/organisation in the domain of fund raising and resource management.
 
The programme is aimed at graduates with experience of working in the development sector who want to develop their skills in resource mobilisation. The last date of submission of forms is August 24.

Enriching working professionals

S P Jain Institute of Management and Research has launched a one-year management programme for working professionals and undergraduate students.

The programme called Professional Programme in Management (PPM), aims at providing corporates with employees whose abilities match that of an MBA. The classes will be held in the evenings or weekends. PPM will be offered across six key sectors - Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, IT, Financial Services and Media.
