BCG makes 19 summer internship offers at Cluster 1 of IIM-A

Making 19 offers, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) emerged as the top recruiter during the Cluster 1 of the summer internship placements that began at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad on Friday.

Cluster 1 of summer internship placements for class of PGP 2017 at IIM Ahmedabad saw in all 35 firms from three cohorts namely, investment banking and markets, management consulting, and investment management firms including PE and VC firms.

The other prominent recruiters in the consulting domain included Accenture Strategy, A T Kearney, Bain & Co., McKinsey & Co., and Monitor Deloitte, among others. Recruiters in the investment banking and markets space included the likes of Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, HSBC and Morgan Stanley, among others. While Goldman Sachs made 11 offers, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch made six offers in the investment banking and markets space.

The PE and VC domain, on the other hand, saw participation from Everstone Capital, Kalaari Capital and Temasek, among others. The premier B-school will hold cluster 2, 3, and 4 for summer internship placements later on.
