CAT 2012 registration window closes on September 19

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have announced the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) 2012 registration and scheduling window will close on Wednesday, September 19, while voucher sales will end on Monday, September 17. Prometric, the global provider of market-leading test development and test delivery solutions, is IIMs' partner in developing and delivering CAT 2012. Registrations for CAT 2012 began on 30 July and, like previous years since its conversion to computer-based testing, candidates have been scheduling for their tests online based on their preferred choice of location, date and time.

According to IIMs, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune are the top cities in terms of the highest numbers of scheduled tests to date. "The current registration trend also indicates a slightly higher percentage of female candidates this year. Final registration data will only be released after the close of the registration & scheduling window," the institutes stated in an official release.
