Lowe Lintas has named Shayondeep Pal, executive creative director, to head the creative offering of its New Delhi office. Pal takes over from Shriram Iyer, who recently moved on to Mullen Lintas as national creative director. Pal will report to Arun Iyer, chief creative officer, Lowe Lintas. He has been part of the creative team in Delhi for more than six years and has worked on brands such as OLX, Micromax, Hindustan Times, Maruti Suzuki, Google and Pernod Ricard.

Leading from the front

netCORE, a digital marketing solutions company, appointed Kalpit Jain as the chief executive officer. Jain will lead the firm's global operations with special focus on product and people development. He will take over from interim CEO Rajesh Jain, who is also the founder and MD. He has over 17 years of experience at netCORE, having joined as a software programmer in 1998. Jain has been handling technology and marketing for all netCORE divisions as COO since 2011.

Business chief for Housing

Jason Kothari, former CEO & co-founder, Valiant Entertainment, is the new chief business officer of real estate platform Housing.com. He will also be a member of the operating committee to drive overall strategy and growth at Housing. Kothari, together with iCEO and COO Rishabh Gupta, will report to the operating committee and the board. As a co-founder of Valiant Entertainment, he led the acquisition and turnaround of former $65 million unit of video game company Acclaim Entertainment.

Focus on sales

Symantec Corp's spinout, Veritas Technologies, has appointed Balaji Rao as the India sales leader to accelerate growth of its information management business in the country. In this role, Rao will be responsible for leading the sales team and spearhead initiatives to deliver next-generation information management solutions to customers and partners in India. Prior to his appointment , he was the senior director, sales, India & SAARC at VMware, and was responsible for managing the business across key verticals with a geographically spread sales team. He has also worked with other leading technology companies including Hewlett Packard, EMC and IBM.
