Real estate portal Housing.com has appointed Mani Rangarajan its chief financial officer (CFO). A Silicon Valley veteran with over 20 years' experience, Rangarajan has expertise in global finance operations in the internet and financial services sectors. He has worked across markets including Americas, Europe, West Asia, Asia and Africa. Rangarajan has been associated with organisations such as Citigroup and Yahoo, Boku, Kosmix and Media Boost. He holds an MBA from the Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, a PGDM from IIM Calcutta and is a qualified Cost and Works Accountant.

Driving growth

Cheil Worldwide has appointed Iravadee Rattanananta as chief operating officer of Cheil Thailand. Rattanananta has more than 20 years of industry experience. Before joining Cheil, she was associated with Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand and helped the agency bring in more business and post double digit growth. She has also been associated with organisations such as TYDiS Communication Management, Batey, TBWA and Lowe Lintas.

Chasing revenues

Aviva India has roped in Anjali Malhotra Nanda as chief customer, marketing and digital officer. She will be responsible for Aviva's brand marketing, product design, business analytics and customer management, while building a roadmap for the Aviva brand in the digital landscape. Nanda brings with her 23 years of experience in media, FMCG and advertising industries. She has been instrumental in building brands such as Dish TV and Revlon in India. Her core competence lies in understanding consumer insights and translating them into product mix and marketing stories.

Netting in customers

Flipkart has appointed Samardeep Subandh as chief marketing officer. He will also be leading the social media communication charter for Flipkart. Subandh has over 17 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. He has spent 15 years with Hindustan Unilever across various marketing, sales and business assignments. A management graduate from the IIM Calcutta, Subandh joined HUL as a management trainee and worked across laundry, personal care and household care categories. During his tenure he helped shape and scale up several brands, most notably, Vim, Comfort, Close Up, Domex, Surff and Rin.
