In a bid to develop itself as a centre of excellence in research and academics, the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) is organising a ‘Leadership Conclave’ on its premises.

The conclave brings together a few of the leading Academicians and Industrialists to hold discussions and develop strategies to develop IIT-Gn into a center of excellence in Research and Academics. Apart from brain·storming sessions to develop strategies and action, the conclave will look to forge partnerships between IIT-Gn and leading Academic Institutions and Industries in India and around the world.

“Through the event, we intend to identify and focus on critical research·areas of national and international significance in the 21st Century; to attract funding to develop world·class research and educational facilities at IITGN; and to engage the Institute in novel educational and research initiatives,” said Sudhir Jain, director of IIT Gandhinagar.

Participants at the conclave include representatives from Electrotherm India Limited, Adani Group, IIT Bombay, Gemplex, The Arvind Mills Limited, Sukriti Vidyut Udyog Private Ltd., Reliance Industries Limited, Piramal Enterprises Limited, IIT Indore, Government of Gujarat, IIT Kanpur, Kovair Software, Inc., and USV Limited, among others.
