For Aban Offshore, which is engaged in oil exploration and production, the event has come as key positive development given its high exposure to the Iran market.

The stock hit a high of Rs 320 on the BSE and has seen huge trading activity. The trading volumes on the counter jumped more than seven-fold, with a combined 9.58 million shares changing hands on the BSE and NSE till 1236 hours.
