Adani Enterprises has surged 5% on a rise in Q4 net.
The stock opened Rs 10 higher at Rs 616. It soon surged to a high of Rs 635. The stock is now trading up 5% at Rs 634. The counter has clocked a volume of 53,313 shares on the BSE so far.
According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, the consolidated net profit has increased 21% to Rs 166.05 crore in the quarter ended March 31,2009 from Rs 137.45 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total income has moved up 31% to Rs 8,676.62 crore from Rs 6,625.65 crore.
