Gati hit the 20 per cent upper circuit at Rs 132.30 on reports that it has forayed into the air cargo segment with a fleet of five Boeing 737 aircraft leased from Air India.
 
As a logistics player, Gati offers distribution and supply chain management solutions. Gati's net profit rose 16.40 per cent to Rs 6.54 crore on a 12.10 per cent decline in net sales to Rs 117.07 crore in Q2 September 2007 over Q2 September 2006.
