On July 3, 2014 Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius Private Limited has sold 2.07 million shares representing 0.95% of total equity of Amtek Auto at a price of Rs 255.93 per share on NSE, the bulk deal data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 247 and touched a low of Rs 235 on NSE. A combined 1.04 million shares changed hands on the counter till noon deals on NSE and BSE.
Meanwhile, shares in auto parts and equipment maker have seen a dream run in past six months. The stock has outperformed the market by appreciating 335% to Rs 251 from Rs 75 at the beginning of 2014 compared to 22% rise in benchmark S&P BSE Sensex till yesterday.
