Asian Granito zooms on huge order for jumbo vitrified tiles

The order is for 12 lakh sq. metres of Jumbo & Imperio Double Charge Vitrified Tiles

Shares of Asian Granito were up over 11% at Rs 193 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company said that it has received an order for its recently launched vitrified tiles Jumbo and Imperio.

The order is for 12 lakh sq. metres for 1000x1000mm Jumbo Double Charge Vitrified Tiles and 800x800mm Imperio Double Charge Vitrified Tiles, the company said in a release.

The stock opened at Rs 192 and touched a high of Rs 200. At 9:55am, over 440,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
