On Wednesday, the company's power projects division secured an EPC contract from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utapdan Nigam for the 2 x 600 mw Kalisindh thermal power project.
On July 1, the company had bagged a 1 x 600 mw project order from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), valued at Rs 3100 crore. This project is an expansion of the existing 4 x 210 mw thermal power project at Mettur.
The work consists of design, engineering, supply of boilers, steam turbine generator and plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems and civil, structural and architectural works, necessary for commercial operation on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
