CHD Developers has surged 9.4% to Rs 4.5 in an otherwise weak market on aacquiring Empire Realtech Private Limited.
The company has acquired 7000 shares of Empire Realtech Private Limited. Post the acquisition it has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the CHD Developers, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Empire Realtech holds 12.34 acres licensed land for residential Group Housing at Sector 106, Dwarka Expressway, Gurgaon.
As many as 17,000 shares have changed hands compared to its two-week average of 26,000 shares. In intra-day deals the stock touched the high of Rs 4.6.
