Chilli prices fell by Rs 78 to Rs 5,350 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the October contract for chilli moved down by Rs 78, or 1.44%, to Rs 5,350 per quintal, with an open interest of 4,360 lots.
