Taking firming cues from global market, copper futures rose by 0.90 per cent to Rs 369.35 per kg today.
Analysts said reports of firming trend at overseas markets and pick up in demand at domestic markets mainly influenced the copper futures prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange platform, cooper for delivery in November contract traded Rs 3.30, or 0.90 per cent higher, to Rs 369.35 per kg, with a turnover of 12,680 lots.
It ended 1.4 per cent higher at Rs 366.05 per kg in the previous session.
Similarly, copper for delivery in February contract also rose by similar margin to Rs 371.20 per kg, with a turnover of 1,029 lots.
