Crude palm oil, palmolein rise on global cues

Crude palm oil and palmolein oils strengthened by Rs 30 per quintal in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on sustained buying by millers amid a firming global trend.
Trading sentiments remained better as palm oil rose in Malaysia on improved prospects for demand, and as crude oil gained on signs of increasing fuel use in the US, the biggest consumer.
Meanwhile, palm oil futures for the July-delivery contract gained 0.3% to $1,105 a metric tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, crude palm oil (ex-kandla) gained Rs 20 to Rs 5,120, while palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (kandla) oils traded higher by Rs 30 each to Rs 5,750 and Rs 5,450 per quintal, respectively.
