The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police is now turning the heat on arbitrators and has arrested Sanjiv Bhasin. Bhasin allegedly acted as a facilitator between Yathuri Associates and National Spot Exchange Ltd.

EOW officials confirmed the arrest of Bhasin. Bhasin had told EOW earlier that he would pay Rs 15 crore and also accepted the liability of Rs 482 crore. Yesterday, EOW arrested had arrested Rajesh Mehta, the owner of Gujarat-based Swastik Overseas.
