Extended trading session for gold ETFs on Friday

Stock exchanges have announced that they will have an additional session for trading of gold exchange traded funds (ETFs) on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on Friday.

Both bourses have announced an additional session starting 4:30 pm.

The BSE's will end at 6:00 pm and the National Stock Exchange's at 7:00 pm, according to notices on their respective websites.

The BSE has also waived transaction costs for all trades for the day.
