The stocks of companies engaged in the castings and foundry business have done well in the last three months from October to January on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Share price of Bhagwati Autocast rose from Rs 17.80 on October 1, to today's close of Rs 24.50, up 37.64 per cent on the BSE.

Electrosteel Castings increased from Rs 300.64 to Rs 309.25, up by 2.86 per cent.

KIC Metaliks strengthened from Rs 29.80 to Rs 53.85 and Jayaswals Neco from Rs 11.24 to Rs 17.30, up 39.81 per cent.

Simplex Castings gained from Rs 15.41 to Rs 18.14, Tayo Rolls from Rs 80.15 to Rs 100.05 and Uni Abex Alloy Products from Rs 32.35 to Rs 37.29.

Ennore Foundries firmed up from Rs 94.70 to Rs 115, Magna Electro Castings from Rs 37.54 to Rs 49.70, Steelcast from Rs 27.75 to Rs 45 and Investment & Precision Casting from Rs 242.90 to Rs 343.95.
