GPT Infra gains on orders from Damodar Valley Corp

The orders valued at Rs 62.50crore is for civil works at Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station

Shares of GPT Infraprojects were up over 3% at Rs 97 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company announced that it has won orders from Damodar Vallery Corporation.

The orders valued at Rs 62.50 crore is for the civil structural & architectural works for construction of intake well, intake pump house and approach bridge for Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station, Phase-1, (2x600MW) located at Raghunathpur in Purulia District of West Bengal, GPT Infraprojects said in a release.

The current orders in hand in its infrastructure division are about Rs 2,058 crore, the release added.
