Guarseed future prices softened by Rs 17 to Rs 2,311 per quintal in future trading today following fresh selling by traders, in line with lower spot markets cue.
Marketmen said fresh selling by traders, tracking lower trend in physical markets, largely brought the fall in guarseed prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, guarseed prices for the delivery of July month contract slid by Rs 17 to Rs 2311 per quintal, with an open interest of 71,170 lots.
Most active August month contract delivery too moved down by Rs 15 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 2335 per quintal, having an open interest of 1,40,910 lots.
