Steady conditions developed in the wholesale jaggery market today, as gur remained flat in Delhi on restricted buying, while the prices fell in Muzzafarngar on sluggish demand.
Marketmen said sluggish demand against adequate supply mainly led to a fall in gur prices at Muzzafarnagar.
However, gur raskat prices at Muzzafarnagar, fell by Rs 50 to Rs 1,750-1,850 and chakku eased to Rs 2,450-2,550, against the last close of Rs 2,500-2,625 per quintal.

Gur chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, gur Pedi Rs 3,000-3,050 and shakkar Rs 3,200-3,300
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,750-1,850, chakku Rs 2,450 -2,550 and Khurpa N.T
In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,800-2,850 and Dhaya N.A
