HCL Technologies is trading lower by 1.4% at Rs 489 in otherwise firm market after its vice-chairman and CEO Vineet Nayar has sold 2.7 million shares representing 0.39% stake of the company for Rs 134 crore.
“Post the transaction, his shareholding in the company has become nil. Of the 2.7 million shares of Rs 2 each, 1.7 million shares were held in the name of two trusts,” the software services major said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
The stock opened at Rs 499 has seen around 15,000 shares changing hands on the counter in morning deals.
