 "ICICI Bank gains after block deal")
ICICI Bank has moved higher by 4% to Rs 222 on the BSE after a huge block deal executed on the counter.
At 09:18 AM, around 4.62 million equity shares representing 0.08% of total equity of ICICI Bank changed hands at Rs 219.45, the BSE data shows.
However, the name of the buyer and seller of the equity shares was not immediately ascertained.
Thus far in 2016, the stock had underperformed the market by falling 18% as compared to 5% decline in S&P BSE Sensex till Friday.
At 10:15 AM, the stock was up 3.2% at Rs 221 on the BSE. A combined 8.04 million shares changed hands on the BSE and NSE so far.
