IT stocks ended mixed, Infosys Technologies ended at $68.80, down 0.69 points or 0.99%, Wipro ended flat at $15.73,Patni Computer System ended up 0.4% at $20.25, Satyam Computer Services closed at $3.91, Up 0.05 points or 1.3%.
Investors also cashed out on HDFC Bank, it closed at $185.59, down 1.64 points or 0.99%, ICICI Bank surged to $51.95, up 0.44 points or 0.85%.
Auto stocks also had a smooth ride, Tata Motors ended at $27.23, up 0.54 points or 2.02%
Mahanagar Telephone Nigam ended flat at $2.90, and Sify ended at $2.39, up 0.10 points or 4.4%.
