JK Tyre hits fresh record high on FIIs buying

On November 24, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets purchased 207,841 shares of JK Tyre at Rs 536.24 per share on NSE.

Shares of JK Tyre and Industries has gained 3% to Rs 568 on National Stock Exchange (NSE) in otherwise subdued market after the foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares of the company through open market.

On November 24, 2014 Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana purchased 207,841 shares of JK Tyre at Rs 536.24 per share via bulk deal, the NSE data shows.

The stock opened at Rs 562 and hit a fresh record high of Rs 579 on NSE. The counter has seen huge trading volumes with a combined 1.35 million shares changed hands till 1036 hours on NSE and BSE. The benchmark CNX Nifty was down 0.67% at 8,473 points.
