Kalindee Rail Nirman rises on talks of L&T buying stake

Shares of Kalindee Rail Nirman Engineers rose 5.3 per cent to close the day at Rs 141.1 on reports that L&T Capital, a subsidiary of L&T has acquired an additional 8.3 per cent in the company, increasing its stake to 13.9 per cent.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 154.4 and a low of Rs 136 with trading volumes of 3,44,853 shares (around four times of its two-week average). The share price increased around 25 per cent in the last week. The stock made a 52-week high of Rs 154.4 (January 1, 2008) and a low of Rs 85 (October 10, 2008).
