Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has zoomed 7.6% to Rs 149. Reliance Infrastructure has soared 4.5% to Rs 754.
Reliance Communicatons, Maruti and BHEL have surged around 4% each to Rs 405, Rs 570 and Rs 1,450, respectively.
HDFC and Larsen & Toubro have gained over 3% each to Rs 2,001 and Rs 2,305, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra is up over 2% at Rs 478.
Tata Steel has dropped 2% to Rs 644.
