The Nifty is up 12 points at 3,938.
Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has surged 3.5% to Rs 143. Reliance Communications has rallied 2.5% to Rs 400.
BHEL has gained 2% at Rs 1,424. Reliance Infrastructure and ICICI Bank have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 732 and Rs 581, respectively.
DLF and HDFC Bank are up 1% each at Rs 386 and Rs 993, respectively.
