Markets in red in noon trades

Markets are in red today ahead of the RBI policy reveiew due on Tuesday.

The Sensex is down 30 points at 18,101. Nifty is down seven points at 5,441.

Maruti Suzuki continues to trade soft on weak quarterly numbers. The stock is down 10% at Rs 1,218.

Hero Honda and Jaiprakash Associates have dropped around 5% each to Rs 1,853 and Rs 123, respectively.

SBI has declined 2% to Rs 2,441. DLF has shed 1.5% at rs 317.

Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors are also in red.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel has gained 1.5% at Rs 319. ICICI Bank has added 1% to Rs 921.

Cipla, ACC and Wipro have advanced 0.7% each.

Among auto stocks, Amtek Auto and Cummins India have dropped 1% each to Rs 189 and Rs 588, respectively.

Apollo Tyres, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland are also in red.
