Markets have recoeverd from the day's low and the Sensex is now trading flat at 18684. The Nifty is unchanged at 5,634.

The rupee today weakened by 17 paise to 54.34 against the US dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market in early trade, due to month-end demand for the American currency from importers. Meanwhile, oil prices fell in Asian trade today after comments from a top eurozone official sparked fears that a bailout deal for Cyprus will set a precedent for other bank rescues in the troubled region.
The stock exchanges will remain shut on Wednesday and Friday on account of Holi and Good Friday. Global news and the futures and options expiry later in the week, will be watched for direction.

Pantaloon Retail (India) is trading higher by almost 3% at Rs 150 in early morning deals after the Future Group Company said that it has sold its partial stake in the general insurance business of Future Generali.
TCS has bucked the negative trend and is trading flat at Rs 1,552. Tata Consultancy Services and global outsourcing services firm Capgemini have been awarded contracts worth $43 million each from Norway Post to operate and manage its applications.
Colgate Palmolive slipped 2% at Rs 1253 after its board approved the selling of a division to Colgate Global Business Services for Rs 59.89 crore.
DB Realty's promoter company has pledged 2.6 crore equity shares to Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. Shares of the company is down 2% at Rs 57.50.
BSE market breadth is neutral. Out of 1954 shares traded, 955 shares have declined while 917 shares have advanced in trades.
