Markets have recovered from its low in noon trades helped by buying in oil & gas space.
The Sensex, after touching a low of 17,150, is now up 22 points at 17,187.
The Nifty is up 8 points at 5,136.
Reliance has gained 2% at Rs 1,048. Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors have added 1.3% each to Rs 1,575 and Rs 778, respectively.
Sun Pharma has added 1% to Rs 1,643. ONGC, TCS and Hero Honda have advanced nearly 1% each.
Meanwhile, HDFC Bank continues to trade weak and has dropped 2% to Rs 1,776.
