 "MCX sells MSXI warrants worth Rs 2.2 crore to IL&FS")
Earlier this month, MCX had sold over 2.2 crore warrants of MSXI worth about Rs 5.3 crore to IL&FS. The warrants sold on Monday number 90,17,227. All the warrants sold are convertible into equity shares and will raise IL&FS’s stake in MSXI from three per cent at the end of December 2014.
As per the regulatory filing on exchanges, the commodity exchange sold these warrants at the rate of Rs 2.50 per warrant.
