Medium sugar dips on low retail demand
Medium sugar prices moved down further at the Vashi wholesale sugar market here today on lower retail demand amidst adequate stocks position.
On the otherhand, small sugar variety traded in a mixed pattern owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) edged down by Rs five per quintal to Rs 2,655/2,760 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,660/2,760.
Small sugar quality (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,631/2,670 per quintal, as against Rs 2,628/2,680.
