Mentha oil down 1.5% on profit-booking

Mentha oil futures for April fell by Rs 15.20, or 1.48%, to Rs 1,011.20 per kg in 1,770 lots.     

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract lost Rs 3.10, or 0.31%, to Rs 993 per kg in 230 lots.

Prices fell as traders indulged in profit-booking amid subdued spot demand.

Profit-booking by speculators amid a weak trend at spot market due to subdued demand affected the trade.
