Mentha oil falls 0.55% on weak demand

Sentiments weakened on increased arrivals from the major producing regions

Mentha oil futures for February fell by Rs 7.40, or 0.55%, to Rs 1,332 per kg in 525 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract declined by Rs 3.10, or 0.24%, to Rs 1,271 per kg in 94 lots.

Profit bookings by speculators driven by weak spot market trends affected the trade.

Sentiment weakened further on increased arrivals from the major producing regions of Uttar Pradesh.
