Mentha oil falls 0.7% on profit-booking

Increased arrivals from Chandausi affected the prices

Mentha oil futures for March fell by Rs 8.80, or 0.69%, to Rs 1,260.10 per kg in 72 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract declined by Rs 8.70, or 0.65%, to Rs 1,321.10 per kg in 407 lots.

Profits booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels amid a weak spot market demand affected the trade.

Increased arrivals from Chandousi in Uttar Pradesh also fuelled the downtrend in mentha oil futures trade.
