 "Mentha oil up 0.3% on spot demand")
Mentha oil prices gained 0.30% to Rs 807.50 per kg in futures trade today amid pick-up in demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June rose Rs 2.40, or 0.30%, to Rs 807.50 per kg in a business turnover of 99 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in July traded higher by Rs 2.20, or 0.27%, to Rs 819.50 per kg in 58 lots.
Market analysts said besides improved demand from consuming industries in the spot market, restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, helped mentha oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
