Menthol rises on buying support

Menthol prices rose further by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today due to strong demand from consuming units.

Strong buying fuelled by receding arrivals in major mandies of Uttar Pradesh accompanied with follow-up buying, pushed up mentha oil prices. 

Menthol bold crystal,menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,175, Rs 1,135 and Rs 1,080 per kg, respectively. 

Marketmen said strong demand from consuming units, mainly influenced menthol prices.
