Nickel February futures shed Rs 3, or 0.31%, at Rs 960.80 per kg in 85 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contract declined by Rs 2.80, or 0.29%, to Rs 954.40 per kg in 1,250 lots.
Sluggish demand from alloy-makers, weakness in base metals at the London Metal Exchange weighed on the nickel futures here.
