PVR gains on shareholders nod to raise Rs 500cr via NCDs

Shareholders have approved raising upto Rs 500cr via NCDs on private placement basis

Shares of PVR were up over 2% at Rs 823 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the board at its meeting held on Tuesday, September 29, approved raising of funds up to Rs 500 crore by issue of non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis.

The shareholders also approved a dividend of Re 1/- per equity share of face value Rs 10 each, the company said in a release to the stock exchanges.

The stock opened at Rs 811 and touched a high of Rs 832. At 12:10PM, over 83,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
